Introductory Anatomy

The module below was created for K9 Handlers to introduce basics.  It’s also important for medics since even though they have advanced medical training it’s important that they understand the differences between humans and dogs.  The learning outcomes for students is that they understand:

  • Key terms: Cranial, caudal, ventral, and dorsal
  • Key systems: Skeletal, Cardiac, Respiratory, and GI
