Most modules are still being added while our system is being finalized and will be available by early July.
There are a few to get started on right now if you are keen!
Your registration ticket below includes your full course tuition including the OnLine Academy and the Live OnSite Skills Training.
For Payment, you may select INVOICE if you wish to pay closer to the date (and since most of the modules are not yet online).
Once you are ready to pay, drop us an email and we will enable your Academy Account to make a credit card payment (or send a check at any time).
If you prefer to make a credit card payment now, select CREDIT CARD at checkout.
All Payments must be complete prior to attending the Live OnSite training. We will send reminders 3 weeks prior to class.
Please let us know if you have any problems with the system
We appreciate your patience as we grow… #ForDogsSake!

1. PreClass Ready! OnLine Study
The hybrid requires that you COMPLETE all PreClass Ready! requirements BEFORE attending the Live Portion! 😁
Yes, really, even if you have lots of experience. This ensures that we can quickly move into Hands-On Skills Practice during our 1-Day of training. This is normally a 3-day class, so we are depending on you to arrive prepared, understanding the modules, and ready to right into Practicals!
If you have questions along the way, we are happy to help out and make sure you feel prepared.
Once you complete the following modules, a Pre-Class Ready Certificate will be automatically generated. It will be emailed to you and your group leader. It will be available in the PreClass Ready Module, and also in your Certs Tab.
The following are the required PreClass Ready Requirements:
- Preparatory
- Assessments (incl homework)
- Life Support: Intro to Shock
- Life Support: Airway Basics
- Medical: GDV
- Trauma: Bleeding Control
- Trauma: Chest Injuries
- Environmental Heat
2. OnSite Skills Training
Once you have completed the prerequisites, you are ready to for the Hands-on Skills Training. There are three different dates/locations in the Events Calendar. Make sure you are signing up for the correct one. All three are exactly the same content. Note that we will be asking for several Demo Dogs (Demo Dogs for K9 MEDIC Classes). So take a look a decide if your partner is a good candidate!
Once you complete the OnSite Skills Training your instructor will sign you off and your certificate will automatically be generated. It will be emailed to you and your group leader. It will be available in the Skill Training module (under the LIVE tab) and also in your CERTS Tab.
3. Course Completion
There are several online modules that are required for Course Completion but are not prerequisites for the OnSite training because they don’t involve hands on skills (such as Toxins) or because they do address immediate life threats (such as “BooBoo Bandaging”). You can choose whether you complete those modules before or after the Live OnSite Training. There is a slight advantage to completing them before so you can ask any questions that comes up directly, but it’s totally up to you (and you can always reach out online too!).
Once you complete ALL Modules AND the OnSite Skills Training, you are done! You will receive your final course completion certification in an email to you and your group leader, here in this module, and also in the CERTs tab above. You will also be entered into our WorldWide K9 MEDIC(r) Registry (see cert for your code). Your cert is good for 2 yrs.
Looking forward to train with you! #ForDogsSake
