Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of k9medic.com, the K9 MEDIC Online Academy, our products and classes, and our text-messaging program, all operated by K9 MEDIC LLC (“K9 MEDIC,” “we,” “us”). By using the site or texting us you agree to them. Use of the Online Academy is also governed by our End-User License Agreement, and our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

SMS text-messaging program terms

  • Program name: K9 MEDIC Desk Texts, sent from 775-DOG-DESK (775-364-3375).
  • What you will receive: messages about your order, shipment, class registration, or inquiry, and replies when you text us. We do not send promotional text messages.
  • How you opt in: by texting our number first, or by giving us your mobile number and checking the text-message consent box on a k9medic.com contact, order, or class registration form.
  • Message frequency: varies by your orders, classes, and questions.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details.
  • Opt out: reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will get one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to resubscribe.
  • Help: reply HELP for help, email dogdesk@k9medic.com, or call 1-855-4K9-MEDIC (1-855-459-6334).
  • Carriers: wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages may not be available on all carriers or devices.
  • Privacy: your mobile number and consent are used only for this program and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

Classes and the Online Academy

Class seats are confirmed when payment is received. Course materials, videos, and workbooks are licensed for the enrolled student’s personal use and may not be copied, shared, or resold. Continuing-education credit is issued under the rules of the accrediting body named for each class. Transfer, cancellation, and refund terms for a specific class are stated on that class’s registration page.

Products

Prices, availability, and shipping times are shown at checkout. Training mannikans, kits, and supplies are sold for training use. K9 MEDIC training and products do not replace veterinary care; always seek a veterinarian for an injured or ill animal.

Website use

All site content, course materials, images, and the K9 MEDIC name and logos are the property of K9 MEDIC LLC or its licensors. You may not scrape, copy, or redistribute them without written permission. The site is provided as is; to the fullest extent allowed by law, K9 MEDIC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
